Answer to a Question
“What are the stipulations? If you have a Pro partner and an Am partner I assume they play in the higher division? What about each team coming up with a team name? That would be cool.”
The above was a question posted recently to the site.
The first question…if two players decide to play together that are from different divisions, such as an Advanced Player playing with a Pro player, you will play in the Pro division with both players paying the Pro rate to enter the tournament. If that team were to place, the Pro player would receive cash and the Advanced/Am player would receive prize vouchers.
Team Names: If your team wants to come up with a team name, more power to you. I assume some will do just that while others will not.
We’ve started receiving some registrations (okay, only one so far) so you might want to get your registration in the mail soon. There is only room for 36 teams. I would hate for anyone who are planning on playing end up not being able ot play because of us having a full field. It would be a shame to miss the first ever State Disc Golf Doubles Championship!
