Change of Course
The tournament in 2009 will have some changes…hopefully.
The Seneca Course is adding alternate pin placements this fall and they should be in play for the 2009 Doubles Championship.
Eight holes at the course will have dual pin placements. The first hole with an alternative pin placement is #2. The new pin placement will play longer and slightly left of the current location. Clearing has begun and the GODG club will be testing the new placement before making it permanent.
Hole 3 will have a new location which is to be determined; Hole 4 should be longer and straighter; Hole 5 is going to be a bit longer with OB danger behind the hole; Hole 11 is longer, going over the creek - If you don’t make the corner and get down the hill, you’ll have a hard time making a 3. Hole 12 will be longer and right or maybe left of the current location. Hole 13 is still undecided. Hole 15 is likely to be longer.
