The Golden Corner CHAINSAW Classic
The Golden Corner Classic is moving from Seneca to Walhalla this year and has been renamed the Golden Corner CHAINSAW Classic. The tournament is November 20th at Sertoma Field. All divisions will be available if there is a request for those divisions.
Strange Disc Sports will be doing the online registration and the AM payout. AM players will have a choice of a tournament disc, t-shirt or voucher as their players pack. There will be a limit of 20 t-shirts and 20 discs. The players pack will be a first come, first service choice. Once the design is finalized, I’ll post it here, on GODGC.com and on facebook.
It should be a good tournament. Several players have requested a single event in Walhalla. Some because it’s their favorite course and others because its so short they think the can shoot 40 or better for two rounds in a row. What ever the reason, I’m hoping for a lot of players. Also hoping to get a lot of first time tournament players from the Oconee and Pickens area. Lots play regularly at Walhalla but don’t do tournaments or leagues.
