Chattooga Belle Farm picture tour back 9
Chattooga Belle Farm has one of the newest Disc Golf courses in South Carolina and offers some of the best views you’ll find most anywhere in the Southeast United States. This is a short picture tour of the back-9 of the course.
Here’s the 10th hole taken from about two-thirds down the fairway. Hole 10 is one of the two shortest holes on the course. It will include a mandatory playing left of a tree off of the front right of the tee. Out-of-bounds can be found to the left if you go into the cow pasture.
Hole #10 from two-thirds down the fairway
The 11th hole is a long, uphill throw. You’ll have to decide if you want to go left or right. The tee is up against a tree that’s tight to the left of the tee. The two trees are the only obstacle other that the elevation change.
The 12th hole is one that gives you options. You can throw down to the water and then throw over the water and hope for a putt for your three. Another option is to go long to the right and hope you throw it long enough to give you an open shot to the basket. The third option is to throw over the water…you’ve have to have some distance and avoid trees on both sides of the water. Here’s a video from Facebook of someone throwing hole 12. If you look at the second picture, this is the 2nd or 3rd shot you might be facing if you’re right of the hole going over the water or short of the hole going wide right and trying to avoid the water.
Hole #12 when going around the corner
Hole 13 is a short hole that plays straight along the lake (on the left of the fairway) and doesn’t appear to be a big problem. I believe that the lake will claim more discs that hole 12 will claim. Don’t be fooled by the picture, the hole is tighter off of the tee than it looks and the water much closer than it seems.

Hole 14 finishes what we call the ‘loop’ of holes. The loop consists of hole 10 - 14. Those holes make a loop around a large tree covered portion of the course where the lake is clearly visible from each of the holes. On 14 make sure you’re past the tree that appears to guard the basket. The basket is 50′ past the tree.
Hole 15 is a long hole that plays through a tight gate and between a ravine and the cow pasture. The cow pasture is OB and the ravine is down-right nasty. The smart play is to throw toward the cow pasture (most won’t get it that far) so you can see the basket on your second throw. The basket is under a large shade tree.
Hole 16 is an uphill monster throw. This hole was originally design to be an 800′ monster playing along the hillside with a danger of catching an edge and rolling a long way away.
Hole 17 is a simple from the back corner of an orchard to the bottom of a valley between two orchards. It’s a short must deuce hole.
Hole 18 is simply an up the valley shot toward the event barn.
Chattooga Belle Farm is a pay-to-play course. Cost is $3.00 a round or $5.00 all day. Season passes will be available. The farm is open Thursday, Friday and Saturdays from 9-5. It will be pay on an honor system when the store is not open.
