Chattooga Belle Farm picture tour front 9
Chattooga Belle Farm has one of the newest Disc Golf courses in South Carolina and offers some of the best views you’ll find most anywhere in the Southeast United States. This is a short picture tour of the front-9 of the course.
Here’s the first hole. The Orchard to the left and to the right is OB. The Orchard won’t come into play for most players but some will end up in the Orchard.
Hole two plays straight up hill. If this is the putt you’re looking at, you’ve done good getting up the hill. Should be a deuce for longer players.
Hole #2 from the lower right of the basket
Hole #3 plays 541′ down hill with a slight dogleg left. Don’t go to far right…the road that comes into the farm is OB. If lefties don’t get their discs turning enough or righties turn over their shots, the road will be in play and you’ll likely have a blind shot to the basket.
Hole #4 is a shorter uphill shot. This is one of the holes that we changed the tee area. The fairway will be a tight shot with mature apple trees on the left and hard woods and pine on the right. The hole will dogleg left. If you’re right off the tee you’ll be flirting with OB if the trees don’t knock you down.
Hole #4 if you’re left and short of the basket
Hole #5 is the longest on the course at 840′. It plays down hill for the first 500′ before going back slightly uphill. It’s hard to tell from this picture but you’ll want to be to the right on your 2nd or 3rd throw to the basket. If not, you’ll have a row of apple trees between you and the basket.
Hole #6 starts from within two rows of apple trees and plays over a small valley to the basket situated just back and to the left of a lone apple tree. If you go right off of the tee, you’ll be playing a longer uphill shot. If you play to the left off of the tee, you 2nd shot will be on a more flat terrain but it will be more difficult to see the basket.

Hole #7 is very similar to hole #6. The tee has an apple tree to the front right of the tee and the basket sits in front of another tree. Don’t throw right…trouble awaits in some thick woods.
Hole #7 if you’re on the wrong side of the apple tree
Hole #8 could easily be made much longer and more difficult. The hole as it is right now measures over 400′ but plays much shorter with it being down hill. If you grip lock or turn the disc over, you’ll find trouble to the left and to the right. Also don’t go long…behind the hole is thick and nasty.
Hole #9 is one of my favorites. It’s a blind 300′ hole through some trees with the lake behind the basket. There’s at least 75 feet between the basket and the water but it looks deceiving if you’re 50′ or more short of the basket on your drive making it look like the water is right at the basket.

A tour of the back-9, including some video, will be posted in a couple of days.
